Crazy Baby Lady

I have been driving myself nuts these last few days. All I can think about is my baby. I keep counting how many months, weeks, days... until my little turkey will be here. I torture myself by looking at baby clothes and watching "A baby story". It's kind of sick actually. I need to find something to do that will keep my mind off of it for a little while. Going to work with hubby never helps because familes with sweet tiny babies come in or pregnant women with bellies that are about to pop. If you look at my notebooks "Colt Liam DeHerrera" and a few girlie names are scribbled on every page! I am so excited it's not even funny. My cousin Ashley from Lousianna is having a baby girl in August. Our babies will only be 3 months apart! I am making her crocheted headbands with the big bows or flowers on them to send to her. I am hoping when Baby D comes we will be able to visit and have the babies meet. That would just be so sweet. We need to find a church soon because I want to have a stable church when my sweetie is born. Right now we are trying things out. I think I have an idea of what church I want to go to but I am not sure yet. Goodberry is crazy right now. Hubby is running the shop right now and is so busy but it is a blessing. Before our baby comes we might have a nice big house to live in. I praise God everyday for how much He blesses us with. Shop number 2 is in the works. In a few years we hope Costa Rica will be our home with a few shops there. Anyways I thought I would update you on how baby crazy I am and how Goodberry is doing. I will post some pictures of the shop soon on here. It is just so cute!

Itty Bitty Angel

So I went in for an ultra sound today. The baby (only one) is doing great. I loved watching him (no we don't know if it's a boy or a girl but I am going to call it him for this blog) dance around on the screen. It was funny he was very still then started kicking and punching the air... it looked like he was dancing. Billy almost started crying. We are so in love with this baby it is crazy. We have for sure picked a boy name Colt Liam DeHerrera and have a few ideas for a girl name. We like strong and semi original names for a boy and sweet original names for a girl. I like Cerie (pronouned sur-re), Reagan (not that original but cute), Avalee (like ava-lee), and Briar. I am not sure if we will go with any of those but right now they are being tossed around. I get my next ultrasound to find out the gender in 9 weeks. Baby D is due on November 29th, 2010. Just 4 days after Thanksgiving. I hope I can still do the black Friday shopping with my big tummy hehe. I will keep you posted.

Fluffy

So as you all know I am expecting. When you are preparing for your new little one there are so many question you need to ask. Breastfed or bottle? Co-sleep or crib? Cloth diaper or disposable? We have been researching and deciding on many things. Diapers were a huge one for us. We are not hippies by any means but we are frugal eco friendly people. Throwing our money out into a landfill did sound like something we wanted to do. When you diaper with disposable that is pretty much what you are doing. Plus we are "quiverfull" so if the Lord does bless us with many children that is a lot of waste. Cloth diapering does not waste and we will be able to reuse our stash on our other babes. Cloth diapers are better on babies skin as well. I don't want yucky stuff on my babies booty. I love swagbucks because they have gift cards for earth angel diaper co and amazon. They both have great selections of fluffy cloth diapers. We are planing to buy several of the "big names" in semi large stashes so we can see what works best and have a variety on hand. When I tell people that I will be cloth diapering they look at me like I just told them I have eye balls on my toes. My mom was less than thrilled so I want to make her swoon over them. I will be getting some nice fluffy all in ones for her to use when she watches Regan or Colt (or our twins?? I can't wait to hurry up and find out!).

Our first cloth diaper cover came in the mail today and I jumped (well kind of) for joy! It is so tiny and cute. I can't wait to have my wittle babe here in his/her sweet thristies melon diaper!

I will keep you posted when more of my fluffy mail comes!
