Just a few pictures

Just thought I would share a few pictures. My little guy will be 4 weeks on tuesday. He is just under 8lbs and is such a blessing. I will be doing a baby wearing post and a cloth diapering post this coming week.. so be on the look out!

wow I am posting!

I am thinking.... how blessed I am to have this amazing child. I never knew you could love something so much.

I am feeling.... cold. I love the winter but sometimes it's just way too cold!

I am hearing..... Brooks & Dunn and the sound of the heater

I am cooking...nothing right now... I have to tell you having a baby and nursing puts cooking on the back burner most days lol

I am cleaning.... about to shampoo all the carpets because they are a bit messy thanks to Bella the dog

I am teaching.... well I am working on signing with the baby though at 3 weeks he isn't signing back lol

Outside my window.....it is grey and cold.

I am making....a wool hat for Billy and I am going to make a few more blankets for Atticus to give him for Christmas. I am going whip out the sewing machine again soon to make diapers!!

A Picture Thought......

I had been in early labor for over a week then on monday (11-8) I started leaking water. I went to the hospital at 10pm that night and they popped the rest of my bag of water and labor picked up. I was stuck at 4cm for a while so they gave me pitoticn (sp?). That stuff is evil but I did it pain med free :) and had no rips or tears. We are still in the hospital but hope to come home tonight if we get the okay from the doctors. I love being a mama!

4 years ago today...

A sweet young fellow asked me to be his. It was the start of this love story. I am so glad the Lord lead him to me and that it was the perfect match. I love you so much sweetheart and I am so glad I am now your wife. xoxo

Hello

So, I almost forgot I even had a blog. I forgot I used to be a "blogger". So much has gone on since my last post. I am not sure it's worth writing about. Mostly marriage bliss, baby growing inside my skin, frozen yogurt by the tons, and lots of love. I only have 10 weeks left until my due date. My little wedding night babe will soon be in my arms. The Lord has been so good to me. I am so very blessed. I could write about my life but here are some of my favorite things right now...

1. Honey crisp apples. Anything with apples. I think they are my pregnancy vice, if you will.

2. My new fall candle that sounds like a camp fire when it burns

3. The thought of moving into the mountians into a blissful cabin. I can't wait

4. Fleece. The fabric that used to make my fingers curl is now amazing to me

5. My crochet baby blanket is all ready for my little man to be cuddled in

6. His secret name

7. The smell of fires burning

8. Waking up cuddled under the cover with my man

9. Crunchy leafs

10. Cloth diapers coming in the mail left and right.



I am in such bliss right now. I wish I could go on. I promise to blog more often :)

IT'S A BOY!!!!!!!

I will make a whole post later but... we are having a baby boy.

His name is Colt Liam DeHerrera

His mommy and daddy are thrilled.

I couldn't post this on facebook just yet so this for those that are dying to know.

More pictures latter and a story about the lovely ultra sound my mother gifted us.

Update

The pregnancy is going amazing. I am not very sick anymore and enjoying my little baby bump! My next midwife appt. is on Wednesday. I am excited to hear the heartbeat and set the date for my next ultrasound appt. where we will find out the sex of our little bubba. I finally started buying a few things for him or her. I got a travel system, bouncer, nursing pillow, and about 10 outfits! I was pretty proud of myself. We just need a pak-n-play to keep next to our bed, a swing, more cloth diapers, and a breast pump (which I am afraid of buying, I just though I would be able to feed with my breasts only I never thought of Billy taking the baby out alone! yikes lol). I am having a baby shower put on by on of my old best friends at the shop. I am excited for that. It will be nice to have some new outfits. I only buy used for the most part so spoiling my babe without breaking the bank will be great. We are set on names.

Noralie Cerie for a girl (edit: we are NOT set on that name)

I am not really rooting for team blue or pink. I am just excited to have my sweet baby here. It feels like it's taking forever! I will post an update after my next midwife appt. and let ya'll know how it went.
